The TP-Link ES205GP is a compact, managed gigabit switch with 4 PoE ports. It supports up to 30 W per port and aggregates up to 65 W in total. It belongs to TP-Link’s Omada family, allowing centralized management via cloud, hardware, or software controllers. It supports common Layer-2 features: VLAN, IGMP snooping, port isolation, QoS, link aggregation, loop prevention. It also supports an “extend mode” for PoE up to ~250 m distance (though at reduced speeds) Because it’s fanless and compact, it’s suited for small offices, CCTV / surveillance, access point aggregation, and installations where noise or space are constraints.
