At 172g it’s 45% lighter than the AR500 disc, which translates directly to faster spin-ups, quicker weapon recovery, and more agility in the arena. If you’re competing seriously with a NightWing, this is the upgrade disc. Grade 5 Titanium — Why It Matters Grade 5 (6AL-4V) titanium is the aerospace-grade alloy used in high-stress structural applications where strength-to-weight ratio is critical. For a 10in undercutter disc, that means you get a weapon that spins up faster, recovers quicker after impacts, and carries significantly less rotational inertia than the AR500 version — giving you more control over your weapon speed and timing. The trade-off versus AR500 is raw hit weight, but in the hands of an experienced driver the Ti disc’s agility more than compensates. Four Teeth, Optimized The disc’s four-tooth geometry is identical to the AR500 version. Tooth rake and relief angles have been optimized by FingerTech for the ideal balance of bite and durability — aggressive enough to catch and launch opponents, tough enough to survive the hits that come back. The undercutter profile keeps the disc low to the ground, sneaking under opponents’ armor where it does the most damage. Compatible Mounting Options The Ti disc uses the same 4-hole screw and slot pattern as the AR500 — fully compatible with the FingerTech Blade Mount, the FingerTech 60T Weapon Pulley, or your own custom hub.
