DescriptionDaltex Groshield ® Extra Frost Fleece, 4.5m wide by 5m long. Daltex Groshield ® Extra made in Scotland highest quality polypropylene, UV stabilised, nonwoven spunbond. Daltex(Registered Trade Mark) Groshield(Registered Trade Mark) can be used to protect crops and provide ideal growing conditions.. This is professional quality frost fleece same as we use on the nursery. Use this fleece to protect tender perennials like Evergreen Agapanthus I generally use 3 layers of this fleece laid over the plants and secured around the edges with anchor pegs which we sell as well. This will help protect plants from severe frost damage while still allowing the plants to breathe and grow below the fleece. You can also use this fleece as a shade material inside your greenhouse tie up to the roof a single layer, this is ideal for growing Hostas, Ferns, Hellebores, Primulas and young seedlings under it keeps the hot sun from scorching the plant leaves. This fleece is 4.5m wide with a crossstitch seam in the middle for extra strength by 5m long so 22.5m2 I recommend only to use on plants for one season so as you are not spreading any leaf disease spores or weed seeds on the fleece from one year to the next. I send this fleece out in a single polybag so please be careful when opening the bag not to tear the fleece.
